These are some photos taken at Araluen in the 1950s with my Brownie Box six-20 Model D camera.
Two boys whose names I've forgotten after sixty years, posing for an 'artistic' photo. The people in the background are politely waiting until I've taken the snap. I came to loathe the idea of the place after attending a Young Australia League camp there.
That's my friend in the cap posing again, reading the time on a sundial. I think this might be called The Grove of the Unforgotten, but I've forgotten who they were.
I think I might have entered this one in something like a competition, as it has a title on the back, 'Stream at Araluen', and my name, in my 13-year-old handwriting.
