Juvenilia

An apostrophe to the statue of the Sphinx, which is still in the grounds of Perth Modern School, tho now on the other side of the main building, this poem has the unfortunate title Entity? - but I was only 15, and it was a new word! Published in the School magazine, also called The Sphinx, in 1959.

In my final year, 1960, I had published in the same magazine a poem called School, another reflection on attending that particular institution.
