I wrote a doctoral dissertation mostly on Freud in 1993. The files in this folder are merely some of my research apparatus. This one has links to notes on and from various Freud publications. They are not offered as definitive or complete: they're just what I gathered as I thought I needed it.

Selected annotated bibliography

References to the works of Freud in English are to the Standard Edition (Freud, Sigmund 1953-74, The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works 24 vols, The Hogarth Press and the Institute of Psychoanalysis, London, tr. from Gesammelte Werke).  References to this edition are by date of first publication, followed by citation of the volume number in arabic and bold, preceded by 'SE'.  References to the works of Freud in German are to the Collected Works (Gesammelte Werke, 28 vols, S. Fischer Verlag, Frankfurt am Main, 1940-68).  All references to this edition are also by date of first publication, followed by citation of the volume number in arabic and bold, preceded by 'GW'.
