I didn't know Dave Norgard (left, above) well, but thought he was a great guy, and very funny. I associate him with Spike Milligan's The Goon Show (1951-60) which was culturally important at school to at least the group I used to associate with. As I recall (not reliably) it was broadcast one night a week and we would assemble in the playground the next day and perform what bits we could remember. Milligan's wordplay had an influence on some of the language we used, and even in the names we used for each other. I remember Norgs as being the best at doing some of Milligan's characters, and I at least thought of him as owning the character of the 'famous Eccles'.
This is Norgs, second from left, front row, with a few of his closest friends on his 20th birthday in the garden of the family home in a photo taken by his sister Astrid.

Again unreliably, I think I remember David working as a journalist before dying very young - in his twenties.
